Hey,

First off, this library is a great help for our site.

However, I noticed that there is one small bug in the provSWregister.php file regarding custom nameservers. Around line 210, the $passArray = array(); line should be outside of the for loop, rather than inside it, as none of the nameservers are being applied to the query. I am currently using using v2.3 of the library.

Other than that, this library works great.

Thanks,
Joshua

Hi Joshua,

Thanks so much for posting your comments and the bug that you found. It's always very handy when resellers help us out when finding things that we missed; so I greatly appreciate your assistance. :-) I'm glad you're finding the toolkit easy to use and functional. If you have any requests for additional features or changes, I'd love to hear them. Making OpenSRS easier to use is definitely a priority for us.

Thanks again,
Claire

Issue seems to be fixed in the newest release.

New question:

Where can I find the documentation for the arrays that are returned for each function?

Greetings,

We are certainly still mapping out the details of the returns and it's on our list of things to do. For the time being, you can take a look at the return calls by either looking at the OpenSRS documentation in the resource center (the command mappings are on the bottom of the documentation/ directory in the toolkit).

I hope this helps. Please feel free to come back if you have any additional questions.

Cheers,
Claire

but in file ~/opensrs/openSRS_mail.php , is named 'osrsEmail' . to read the xml value;

Code: Select all
$xmlHand->getValueByPath ($fileConfig, "config/osrsEmail");

Thanks Howard!

We're actually working to making the mail portion easier to use. Appreciate the feedback and 2.5 will be out soon to address this.

Hi there,

I got to download the opensrs-php_2.8.1. Got some time to make it work but it works great.

I came across opensrs_php_toolkit_v2.3 which is much bigger and looks more complicated (and it takes me a long time to get my head into it) to integrate with my system (for domain lookup, transfer and order).

I would like to know what is the best one to use and is there a better documentation for the toolkitv2.3 if it is the one to use?

Thanks for any help.

HI Jerome,

Great to see you in the forums and thanks for posting.

The integration method you chose to use is certainly your preference. You can decide to use your own toolkit, downloaded toolkits or the Tucows toolkit. They all will serve similar functions. the opensrs_php_toolkit_v2.3 is an officially supported Toolkit that helps developers integrate into our system. This is not meant as a turnkey solution. Documentation is available for the v2.3 toolkit which is available in the /docs directory of the package. Consequently, you can also see it here.

I hope this helps and if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for your reply.

I think I ll put these classes on hold for the moment and try build my own using the xml api documentation. Does not look too bad and very easy to connect and return data.

Ill surely come back for some help though :D .

Thanks again.
